The Voice
The sweet little voice,
So honest and true,
Was it even real,
Dream up, did he do?
Turned back all flushed,
At the question she asked,
Lost in her so but
Ears red and embarrassed!
An instant when even time,
Stood still for the while,
A quiet story had begun,
With her cute little smile!
Lifetimes are but short,
For the love that flows
forth, of a pure heart
To the other that glows!
Many a year and more,
May have passed in silence so,
In their hearts they’d bore,
The love, none let go.
Even cold destiny,
Couldn’t hold them apart,
Decades may it be,
What’s time for the heart?
Here, now they are one,
Untethered and free,
The binds undone,
As were meant to be!
Now that’s a story that I shall,
Oft bring up and say,
And feels even more magical
On your special day!
I can’t help but wonder,
At the story so true,
Now when I wish,
Happy Birthday to you!
